Society of Suckers

by TDOT-J on March 31, 2011

A society of suckers!
You sit around and talk about your technology,
Your money, and the finer things you’ve done.
Don’t you understand? You’re playing to their pointed gun.
Running down an endless road and looking for your four leaf clover.
They say you’re walking straight, but you are all hunched over.
Spending money, making money,
Spending money, making money.
Are you happy with everything you’ve built?
Because it all looks just the same as the other guys stuff.
Like blocks in suburbia, it’s all the same shit.
And there is so much fucking suburbia!
An endless picture of absolutely nothing,
Ha-ha, it looks like you’ve reached your goals, now what?
And what are your kids gonna do? The exact same thing.
After all, it’s much easier to attack one enemy.
And I hope you know that’s you to them!
Well don’t take my life, fuck the money!
I am an individual, I have my own thoughts, and I walk how I talk
And I don’t necessarily give a fuck about what you want to tell me.
I am going to do my own thing. I am going to be me.
Your looking the wrong way baby.
Life is this-a-way! Be free baby, be free.

Sudden Fallout

by TDOT-J on March 30, 2011

Back then they felt the wrath of our nuclear face
Since then we hit the world with our nuclear waste
And now we’re running fast, power pushing the pace
Is it hard to understand, we at the end of the race

Sinister Trod

by TDOT-J on November 10, 2010

a sinister thought from a sinister mind
can you see my will, not dark but divine.
a collection of actions from a handful of time.
i try to do good, but my emotions are blind.

please forgive me, as i walk thru in the dark.
my unstable steps lead to unstable starts.
good deeds are damned, think head not the heart.
put feelings aside, good things fall apart.

take what you love and bury it deep.
fake friends exploit what they see as they creep.
most eyes don’t lie, watch them while they speak.
always on guard, keep one ear to the street.

the sensation of comfort, often feels fake.
nightmares take form, in my sleep and my wake.
knowledge transforms, reality is at stake.
make sure you have, if you don’t then you take.

i hurry a long, but don’t fit with the crowd.
they know not what they do, they follow the loud.
i’ve made my own moves, not all i am proud.
we all walk a path that ends at a cloud.

Hate Unplugged

by TDOT-J on November 2, 2010

Once again here we are.
You and I, me and you.
Mono y mono, finally we at par.
Or are we?
Cause it seems to me
That maybe the two of we
been going in different directions.
Can’t you see?
With everyday, the bricks I lay,
Just rest upon my shoulders.
And from what I see and what you say,
You just ain’t one of the holders.
So fuck it!
You’re running around knocking everybody’s shit!

And once again here we are.
You and I, me and you-
But you ain’t really there
Are you?
No you’re gone, and don’t give a shit.
But don’t forget it’s my right,
And subconsciously, maybe out of spite that,
I don’t either.
Because with everyday, I’m going straight.
And I see the world advancing with me.
But you wont believe me, so full of hate.
Well checkmate,
I’m tired of playing your fucking games.

To Fall and Rise By Any Means Necessary

by TDOT-J on October 4, 2010

Clasped mind speak not, just sit back and follow.
Morph into known, one script to swallow.
Light coming down please catch me as I fall.
Burn up my soul, let the light paint the wall.

Freedom released, detain my difference.
Only one love, tell me who to reference?
I came to this land, a bringer of peace.
Fold to the power, they gave me a crease.

Anchored to smile is really a frown.
Break through their shadow, move not like they sound.
Refuse to trod like a sheep thru the snow.
A path of flame our chariots will glow!

Dark fog ascends as we conquer their quest.
Remember they came to bury our best.
Next time they silence the words that we speak,
Strike them much faster, actions less discreet.

Time ’till Dusk

by TDOT-J on September 21, 2010

try my mind on for fit
watch for venom snakes can spit
take a stroll down the path
time drops thru the hour glass

lay down slow my soul slain
jump on to this crashing train
forget the warm good is gone
move no more this silent pawn

it feels wrong theres no escape
trust my destiny hate my fate
i move slow while thinking fast
things of comfort in the past

think no more lay to rest
who do wrong act the best
will you win check the end
until again next life we spend

A Raven’s Prey

by TDOT-J on September 11, 2010

One dark, cold night when I was working.
No, I didn’t feel the lurking.
Eyes were peeping and mouths were smirking,
planning pain outside my workplace door.

I heard the knock that caused a shutter,
but i thought nothing of it more than clutter.
Falling clutter, yes it must be!
Falling down the stairs on to the floor.

About my business I did continue.
Until a knock again flew into,
my open mind, and yes I stuttered
at the knock that came from my workplace door.

I did proceed but with some caution.
No noise tonight will lay me to my coffin!
I opened the door to foil the plotting,
there was nothing, just darkness outside my door.

Confused and dazed, the time was late.
I packed for a journey back to my gates.
And onward outside I happened to make,
when I heard a voice from around my workplace door.

‘There he is!’ the voice was rotten.
And then 5 men approached me soughting.
With their sticks and kicks my head was gotten,
but I gave fight to avoid landing on the floor.

Their long pursuit just did not end;
swinging fists, their way I send.
Just when I caught a glimpse of them,
my soul split and departed outside my workplace door.

Looking down on to my body,
this feeling of free I tried to study.
A lifeless corpse pressed down to putty,
laying there still so close to my door.

Who was this beast of few or many?
My life so worthless, a stolen penny!
Into their eyes a curse I send thee,
the police who murdered me outside my workplace door.

Awaiting Justice

by TDOT-J on May 9, 2010

No need to feel the cold anymore,
Open your window and unlock the door.
Fly free with the others and take in your life,
Lift away the confusion, the pain, the strife.

Bars of repression, in a dark, cold hell.
No longer I fear, only freedom I smell.
My justice attained and my goals are met,
I’ve left deterrence behind, and my track is set.

  - Dedicated to all those awaiting their justice

Comandante In The Window Seat

by TDOT-J on April 12, 2010

I saw the comandante in the front window seat.
He looked on, but said nothing, as her face hit the street.
She lay, but not long; lots of strength so discreet.
She was strong, but in her eyes there was a spirit so sweet.

In the instant she dropped, I replayed it real slow.
How did they not understand, where she had come from to go.
I wanted to help, but again my courage lay too low.
So I stood there and just watched, like the others in a row.

...in the front window seat

Cant Stop, Wont Stop

by TDOT-J on March 30, 2010

A broken hour glass
Shines an opportune time.
Now there’s no time to fear
Go and follow the line.
A path of adventure
Leads abrupt change of mind.
Never follow your heart
All the weak living blind.

The door was never shut
Destiny holds a light.
Roam the dark hall of life
Eyes wide shut full of fright.
There’s no end to this game
And that’s just what I like.
Always make a next move
Trust your thought over sight.

When you hear the sand fall
Know it’s your time to go.
There’s no time to half step,
Trust yourself and let go.
Life is but a party
And one day you wont show.
Make the most of your life
Move, smile, learn, love and grow.

Please Lord Don’t Judge Me Bad

by TDOT-J on March 4, 2010

Mr. Money Man, please don’t take my land.
I work so long and hard, can’t you understand.
Lord please, I need a hand, I don’t see you in the sand.
I really need you now, please hold me while I stand.

And time keeps on rolling thru the night.
If I miss the next train will I be alright?
When I come around the corner, if I’m facing the light,
Please Lord don’t judge me bad, I always put up a fight.

Mr. Money Man, please don’t take my car.
I gotta get to work and I work real far.
Lord please, I never had to squeeze or live behind bars.
But if they try to stop me now, they won’t win this war.

And time keeps on rolling thru the night.
If I miss the next train will I be alright?
When I come around the corner, if I’m facing the light,
Please Lord don’t judge me bad, I always put up a fight.

Mr. Money Man, please don’t take my life.
It was you who kept me low, cut me down with your knife.
Oh Lord, they made me do it, now I’m running for life.
Forced to take an action, with a double edge knife.

And time keeps on rolling thru the night.
If I miss the next train will I be alright?
When I come around the corner, if I’m facing the light,
Please Lord don’t judge me bad, I always put up a fight.

The Taking Hand

by TDOT-J on February 10, 2010

Oh what times we live.
No responsibility, so who’s to blame?
Never time to give.
Lost in generosity, here that ain’t our game.
My destructive thoughts
And my endless list of wants, rule throughout the day.
Understand my soughts.
See this world with swag and flaunts, join this way we play.

Long Paths Of Time

by TDOT-J on February 2, 2010

Familiar faces, lost smiles, most seeming distant today.
What has changed over time, leaving blue skies gray?

When I walk through the valley, walk all alone that day.
Will I blame myself, on judgment day?

Understand me not! But see my will do good.
When push come to shove, I break through where problems once stood.

My face carved deep, by the long paths of time.
Experience always teaches, but leaves your loved ones behind.

Hush Now My Child

by TDOT-J on January 28, 2010

Hush now my child,
Go to sleep, no resistance.
To live in this world,
There’s some rules like for instance.

Never talk back,
Must obey all authority.
Step out of line,
And you join the minority.
Regardless your race,
Colour, creed or beliefs,
Look out of place,
For you they send the police.
No, can’t explain,
Or, understand what you did.
Disrupt their order,
And they’ll make sure that you bid.

Life is so short,
Here comes lesson number two.
Knowledge is key,
But only what they teach you.
Din’t think out loud,
Or, even out of the box.
Only read their books,
Ideas bring chains and locks.
Talk how they talk,
Only repeat what you learned.
Follow these steps,
I promise you won’t get burned.

No time to stop,
Ready to hear lesson three?
Keep the mass poor,
That’s modern day slavery.
You can’t be boss,
And no you can’t have a say.
Keep dreams real small,
A worker bee you must stay.
Give them that cheque,
I know you worked real hard.
Don’t pay their tax,
And you will be sent behind bars.

Last but not least,
Now some more, lesson four.
Never can hide,
Your privacy is no more.
Many will laugh,
They’re convinced it’s ok.
How do you feel,
As they watch, listen and prey.
Keep us in check,
Cut us off when we begin.
Always in wrong,
Unless you’re born next of kin.

Corrupt Justice

by TDOT-J on January 24, 2010

The epitome of corruption can be said as brute over brain.

The injustice in justice, take my life like a game.

We progress through time, but what really has changed?

Protect the elite? No more, time for change!

Make Your Move

by TDOT-J on January 19, 2010

If we are all but pawns,
And life’s like a chess game.
Then our knights are corrupt,
And our bishop’s to blame.

I tried to seek cover
In the rook from the heat.
But they ain’t letting me in,
Their admission’s too steep.

The playing field’s a lie,
And it really ain’t fair.
They try to make me see black and white,
But only gray is in the air.

So slowly you slide,
To your place, so to speak.
But see through their eyes,
And it’s mission complete.

And all along,
From this game, what you got?
I just followed along,
And one day it all stopped.

So what’s the message,
Plain and straight?
It’s time for a change,
A revolution, checkmate!

Decade

by TDOT-J on January 16, 2010

Ten years in and so much has changed.
Politics rearranged, new faces to lay blame.
Newer technologies, but are we better or worse?
An abundance of knowledge, still so many youth ride the hearse.

Are we cursed? From here to abroad we’re all the same.
Poverty ignites the mob and journalists seek one sided fame.
Should we fear the eclipse cast by a powerful corporate reign?
Maybe it’s too late, our privacy ain’t nothing but a money game.

Global masses stay strong, just know you’re kept in the dark.
Education’s all wrong, we’ve been teaching the same shit from the start.
See what I see, it’s a revolution we seek.
Too many people are dying, and I really just can’t sleep.
